Application: Renovation of a storey floor

Product: Jumpax CP and Ecopearls

For a project in Amsterdam at the Binnen Dommersstraat, Wever Bouw chose Jumpax CP. On the first floor (about 50 m2), the floor has a gradient of at least 7 cm. They also want to reduce a lot of impact noise. The project leader is Brian de Vries from Wever Bouw and is assisted by Deng Driessen.

First, the floor was completely covered with rachels that made the floor horizontal, after which the Ecopearls were poured. To get extra stability Redupax plates of 9 mm thick were placed on top. Jumpax CP was placed on top of the Redupax, so the total reduction value of this solution is about 14 dB, according to Dutch standards. Laminate is to be installed on this floor.
